Sponsor Membership Requirements
Sponsor Membership in the Association shall be available for any private entity that complies with the following requirements:
- The private entity shall have a “partnership” agreement (the “Partnership Agreement”) with a governmental instrumentality of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, as such term is defined in Act 29-2009, as amended, known as the “Public-Private Partnership Act” or any other similar law or statute in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
- The private entity shall have a minimum annual revenue of thirty million dollars ($30,000,000) pursuant to the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP); and
- The Partnership Agreement shall be in connection with an infrastructure project.
The Board of Directors has the authority to waive, in its sole discretion, any Sponsor Membership Requirements due to the nature and importance that any Partnership Agreement may have for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
