Before being appointed CEO of Metropistas this year, Mr. Fernández worked as Chief Governance Risk and Compliance Officer since 2016. Prior joining Metropistas he worked as Head of Legal M&A Projects at Abertis Infraestructuras with over 15 years of experience within the industry, having extensive experience working with public infrastructure procurement processes, acting as counsel in buy-side and sell-side capacities for toll road and airport concessions. He holds a Law Degree from the Cardenal Herrera University; an LLM from the Instituto de Empresa Business School; completed a Management Development Program at IESE Business School, and participated in a Talent Development Program from the ESADE Business School
